Patsy's Italian Restaurant

Patsy's has been around since 1944 and was at one time Frank Sinatra's favorite Italian restaurant. How is it holding up to today's standards?

I went with some in-laws for dinner and the restaurant was packed. The restaurant was bustling and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The food was okay. I thought it was a notch above mediocre. There was nothing about the meal to get excited about. I would go back again though if I were invited by someone, but it wouldn't be a place I would pick.

They must be doing something right though. The restaurant was completely full and they've been in business for almost 65 years. Not an easy thing to do in NYC.

Stracciatella Soup

Stuffed Calamari
Stuffed with shrimp, calamari, crab, and lobster in a tomato and garlic sauce.

Stewed Tripe Alla Neopletana
Served in a sauce of onions, prosciutto, green peas, and tomatoes.
