Tuna Sandwich

As I mentioned in my other blog, I was going to post what Jason made for dinner last night, but I left the darn camera at home.

So, here's something I'm pulling out from the archives. It's somewhat related to the dinner we had last night.. same protein. This is a sandwich he made for me back in March. I was in class and he surprised me by having lunch ready when I got home.

He came up with this on his own, so there's no recipe to post. It came out terrific.. definitely something that can be served at a good restaurant.

He crusted the tuna with black and white sesame seeds and seared it for a couple of minutes on both sides. The center was still a bit rare. I thought it was cooked perfectly. The greens were lightly coated with a salad dressing of oil, lemon and balsamic vinegar. And, the bread lightly toasted with a spread of japanese mayo, sriracha and wasabi.

Can you say "YUM!!"?
